Stevie Wills is a public speaker, performance poet and writer who believes deeply in the power of words to bring life and positive change. She's passionate about justice and seeing all people thrive.

Living with cerebral palsy, Stevie approaches life at her own pace, which fuels her creativity in unexpected ways. Her quieter lifestyle gives her space for reflection and deep thinking. She loves getting fresh air during lunch breaks, often taking her electric wheelchair down the local bike path before settling in to work or write. When she needs a creative break from heavy topics, she turns to horror and dystopian stories. As an artist, she finds inspiration in musicians like Melissa Etheridge.

Stevie treasures her independence, living on her own with support workers who help her three times a week. Her nieces and nephew light up her world, and she loves family time and getaways to her parents' country home. She has a wicked sense of humor and thrives on meaningful conversations with friends.

Since 2009, Stevie has worked with CBM Australia as a volunteer, employee, and currently as an associate. Through these roles, she advocates for the inclusion and empowerment of people with disabilities both in international development and local Christian communities. Her advocacy takes many forms—from performance poetry and public speaking to workshops, writing, social media, and political lobbying.
